Returns & Order Modifications
Returns: All requests for returns or cancellations must be made within 3 days of the invoice date, no exceptions. If we shipped your order we will require a 15% restocking fee to cover our shipping and credit card expenses. Please check your order carefully before paying for your order.
Order Modifications: If you decide to either add or your order or omit part of your order before shipment please send us a quick email letting us know. We will be more than happy to add or modify your order accordingly.
Conditions of Sale
Every attempt has been made to describe all property as accurately as possible. Westhampton Fine Wine does not warrant or represent, and deny responsibility for, the accuracy of said wine descriptions, encompassing but not limited to vintage, provenance, authenticity, quality and condition as may be stated in our website. The buyer accepts all purchases “as is”. Notwithstanding any other terms of these Conditions of Sale, should Westhampton Fine Wine receive any written claims within 21 calendar days of the purchase that any order is with a shortage, or otherwise out of condition we will review all pertinent information. Westhampton Fine Wine will judge any claim through inspection of the wine or by any other just means. At all times the decision of Westhampton Fine Wine will be final and binding.
Sales Tax and Direct Shipping Tax
Sales Tax: All wines are sold in the state of New York and the title passes to the buyer in New York State. All purchases shipped to a New York State address will be subject to 8.625% sales tax.
Direct Shipping Tax: Currently two states require a Direct Shipping Permit in order to collect tax on wine shipped into those two states:
State of New Hampshire: The state requires us to collect 8% in Shipping Tax on all shipments.
State of North Dakota: The state requires us to collect 7% sales tax on all shipments.
